As a mother between professional success and family freedom
In a world that increasingly offers digital work opportunities, as a mother I took the chance to work for solution sales from my sunny home office in Tenerife. I found love here 10 years ago and thus found my home. A spontaneous visit by old friends during their workation 2023 in on Tenerife brought me and solution sales together again. This decision has added a new dimension to our family life as well as my everyday working life.

For me, as a mother, working from home in Tenerife gives me the opportunity to carry out my professional tasks effectively and, thanks to optimal organisation, to devote more time to my family. This is made possible by solution sales promoting innovative solutions for remote work and flexible working hours, allowing me to maintain an optimal work-life balance.
Time for family
One of the biggest challenges in organising the family day-to-day life is reacting spontaneously to illness or restrictions on childcare times.
Thanks to the opportunity to work form home and flexible working hours, I am able to harmonise my professional commitments with the needs of my daughters and my partner.

My partner, a Canarian, and me from Germany, live on an island where we live our unique blend of the pursuit of Swiss precision, German organisational talent and Spanish temperament.
This cultural connection is reflected not only in our family life, but also in my work for solution sales, where different perspectives are valued.
Challenges and solutions
Naturally, there are also challenges when working from home on our island, such as the time zone difference. However, modern technology makes it possible to overcome these hurdles. Regular video conferencing, well-organised workflows and clear communication help to maintain efficiency.
